ZERO WASTE IN THE FUTURE: NECESSITY FOR A SUSTAINABLE WORLD

From the Industrial Revolution up to the present day, increased production and consumption activities, the rapid depletion of Natural Resources has led to serious environmental problems. Zero waste approach is developed for the solution of these problems, and that will be recycled by decomposition of waste at source is committed to environmental sustainability. In this article, the definition of a zero waste system, the importance and contribution to sustainable development is discussed in relation to future technological developments. Zero waste system also environmental, economic and social perspectives the potential benefits have been examined.

1. Introduction

Nowadays, increasing population, urbanization and industrialization, along with there is a large increase in the production of waste. Depletion of Natural Resources, Environmental Pollution and climate change issues such as the increase of current consumption and production systems surdurulemezlig he clearly reveals. In this context, reduction of waste, recycling and zero waste to be managed as much as possible in place based on a system that has become both environmental and an economic necessity. In this study, the definition of the zero waste approach, the importance of the application formats are addressed in relation to technological developments and future in a comprehensive way.

2. Zero waste definition and basic principles of the system

Zero waste in the processes of production and consumption as much as possible, reducing waste, and reusing or recycling on the basis of the parsed source is an approach to environmental management. In this system, the waste easily soluble biologically (e.g., paper, organic waste) and the difficult soluble (e.g. plastic, glass, metal), including categories, governed by. Basic target of "garbage" that is based on the concept of a circular economy principles, and eliminate production-consumption chain to create.

3. The Importance Of A Zero Waste Approach In The Future

3.1. Conservation Of Natural Resources

The limited resources necessitates the sustainable use of natural resources on Earth. Zero waste system prevents waste through efficient use of resources and long-term supports environmental sustainability.

3.2. Fighting Climate Change

The decomposition of waste in landfill greenhouse gases such as methane formed as a result of climate change, one of the main factors that triggered it. The Prevention of such practices zero waste emissions, can be an effective tool in combating global warming.

3.3. Economic Contributions

Recyclable materials of industrial and manufacturing processes, the re-acquisition of raw materials to support economic growth while reducing costs at the same time. Also the opening up of new areas of business is one of the important benefits of a zero waste economy.

3.4. Social Awareness

To learn a culture of zero waste to all segments of society, individuals change their consumption habits, and allows us to develop environmentally conscious behaviors. This is also a long-term forms the basis of social transformation.

4. Zero Waste Technologies and applications in the future

The rapid development of technology, more efficient and automated system allows you to become zero waste. Especially artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), biotechnology and robotics systems are groundbreaking in the field of zero waste.

  • Artificial intelligence and IoT: waste separation, collection and analysis of the process automation; increases productivity and minimize human error.
  • Biotechnology: microorganisms and bacteria to be used in recycling, thanks to the separation of organic waste is accelerated, supported the production of energy.
  • Nano-bots and automation systems: wastewater treatment, waste collection of hazardous chemicals and processes such as the separation can be carried out with robots in the future.
  • Drone and robot-assisted Transport: fast and safe waste collection, advanced robotic systems will be possible. The integrated use of these technologies, zero waste systems more sustainable, efficient and cost-effective to contribute towards making.

5. Results

Zero waste is not only an environmental preference for a sustainable future has become a necessity. This system, from the conservation of natural resources to combat climate change, economic development and social transformation in a wide domain. With technological advancement practices to increase the efficiency of zero waste, waste can be converted into raw materials and processed in separated places. Their active participation in this process of both individuals and institutions, will play a key role in the construction of environmentally conscious society. Zero waste is an environmental policy not only in the world of the future; will guarantee a healthier future economic productivity of conscious life and our planet.
